Kaufmännischer Leiter

Hi everybody,

Could anybody suggest an English translation for the function of
"Kaufmännischer Leiter" for a branch office which cannot be confused
with the "managing director". In my case the "Kfm. Leiter" reports to
the branch office manager...

If that is the hierarchy, "assistant branch office manager" is
the usual next
step. "Branch" is sometimes left out of the title and the title
may vary according to the taxonomy of a particular industry.

Thanks a lot the two of you for your efforts. I think I'll go for the
branch business manager, since there may also be a "technical manager"
at the same level and we would need a distinction between the
"technical" and the "commerical" person on top of it.
